There are three basic Principles of Exposure and they are,shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. These principles help take pics in different types of lighting. So when you take pictures you need to adjust these in order for your photo to turn out well. Especially if you want to do freeze frame pics as well as pics that show motion.
ISO is the level of sensitivity of your camera to the light. ISO determines image gran or image sound. Higher ISO creates higher image gran or image sound. The lower ISO number the less sensitive you photo will be to light.
Shutter speed is the time at witch the shutter closes at a given setting. Is can create cool effects such as freezing motion and motion Blur. Shutter speed (exposure time) is the length of time the camera shutter is open to expose light in to the camera sensor. If the shutter is fast it will freeze the object in time. If the shutter is slow it will create motion blur.
Aperture is important because it brings in dimension to a photo blurring the background or bringing everything to focus. Aperture is a hole in the lens that, which light travels through into the body of the camera. A large Aperture means more light in the camera. A small Aperture means less light in the camera.
